Varicose Veins Treatment
Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins — usually in the legs — that appear when the one-way valves inside them fail, letting blood pool. They can ache, swell and, over time, damage the skin.

A varicocele is an enlargement of the veins within the scrotum, similar to varicose veins in the leg. It is common, usually on the left side, and can cause a dull ache and affect sperm quality.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the leg. It causes pain and swelling, and carries a risk of part of the clot travelling to the lungs (a pulmonary embolism), which is why it is treated promptly.

A diabetic foot ulcer is a wound — usually on the sole or toes — that is slow to heal because diabetes reduces sensation, blood flow and the body's ability to fight infection. Left untreated, ulcers can become deep infections.
