Understanding PCNL

PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) removes large kidney stones through a small (about 1 cm) track made in the back, directly into the kidney. It is the most effective option for big or complex stones.

It is done under general anaesthesia with a 2–3 day stay. Ayushman Surgicare coordinates the CT scan, urologist, hospital and insurance, with Care Buddy follow-up.
