Understanding Nasal Polyps
Nasal polyps are soft, painless swellings of the nasal and sinus lining, linked to long-standing inflammation, allergy and sometimes asthma. Larger ones block the nose and dull the sense of smell.
Treatment combines steroid sprays or drops and allergy control to shrink them, with endoscopic surgery (FESS with polypectomy) for polyps that block the nose despite medication. Ongoing sprays are usually needed to stop them returning.
Common Symptoms
If you have one or more of these, it's worth speaking to a specialist.
Our specialists use the latest minimally invasive techniques wherever possible — smaller incisions, less bleeding and a faster return to daily life.
Every patient has a full pre-surgical evaluation to decide the most effective approach, and a multidisciplinary team supports your health before, during and after the procedure.
