Understanding Dental Implant Surgery
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it has fused with the bone, a crown, bridge or denture is fixed on top, restoring a natural look, bite and confidence.
Placement is a minor procedure under local anaesthesia. The implant then integrates over 2–4 months before the final tooth is attached; in suitable cases a temporary tooth is fitted the same day. A scan checks bone volume, and a graft is done first if needed.
Common Symptoms
If you have one or more of these, it's worth speaking to a specialist.
Our specialists use the latest minimally invasive techniques wherever possible — smaller incisions, less bleeding and a faster return to daily life.
Every patient has a full pre-surgical evaluation to decide the most effective approach, and a multidisciplinary team supports your health before, during and after the procedure.
