Understanding Double Chin

A double chin is a pocket of fat beneath the jaw (submental fat) that blurs the jawline. It often runs in families and can persist even at a healthy weight.

It is treated with a short session of chin liposuction through a tiny hidden incision, or with fat-dissolving injections for smaller amounts. Liposuction gives a more defined, one-session result.
