Understanding Breast Lump
Most breast lumps are benign — cysts, fibroadenomas or areas of thickening — but every new lump needs proper assessment to be sure. The standard 'triple assessment' combines a clinical exam, imaging (ultrasound or mammogram) and, if needed, a needle biopsy.
